"Teamflieger" lands at Eurowings' home base in Cologne for the first time
Specially painted Airbus A320 as a symbolic thank you to the employees

It was probably the biggest Christmas present in NRW: As a sign of recognition and appreciation for their commitment in the crisis year 2020, Eurowings surprised its employees with a very special gift at the end of the year: a specially painted Airbus A320 as a symbolic thank you to the "best team in the world".
Now the freshly painted "Teamflieger" has landed for the first time at Eurowings' home base in CGN and was officially welcomed with a water fountain from the fire brigade. Eurowings CEO Jens Bischof received the "Christmas present" together with his CEO colleagues Michael Knitter and Frank Bauer on behalf of "Team Eurowings".
For the laudation, Eurowings let the Airbus A320 with the registration D-AIZS speak in person: "What drives me?" is written in huge letters on the fuselage of the aircraft - and gives the answer underneath: "The best team in the world." The German airline is thus sending a highly visible signal for team play in times of crisis in two languages - German on one side and English on the other.
The Airbus A320 will be seen at many airports in Europe in the coming months.
