Eurowings is expanding its portfolio from southern Africa and is supplementing its long-haul operations by Munich in the southern part of Germany. Return flights to the Bavarian capital in Southern Germany can now be booked, starting from EUR 199,99  each way via www.eurowings.com orvia the Eurowings app on smartphone or tablet.

Only recently, the first Eurowings long-haul flight from Eurowings’ newest long-haul Base Munich took off connecting Munich with Las Vegas. With the Mauritius – Munich route, Eurowings is now offering an attractive connection between Mauritius and the southern part of Germany.

The first flight, operated with an Airbus 330 long-haul jet, took off in the early morning on Sunday, 22.04.2018.

The Bavarian capital is a popular holiday destination. Holidaymakers can visit its many museums, stroll through the English Garden or experience nature in the surrounding region.

Eurowings also offers a large number of connecting flights via Munich to Europe and worldwide. Thanks to the extensive codeshare agreement with Lufthansa, Eurowings customers in Munich can also transfer quickly and comfortably to destinations in the parent company’s network. Both airlines fly from Terminal 2.

Also the Germans love Mauritius. In 2017, around 120.000 Germans have been visiting Mauritius. The reasons are well-known: Mauritius offers wonderful beaches, great diving areas and untouched nature. Already from the beginning of May 2016, Eurowings, the currently fastest growing airline in Europe, serves the route Cologne – Mauritius with great success and is now proud to enlarge its long haul portfolio via Munich.

Europe’s fastest growing airline is one of the pioneers of the low-cost long-haul and has already been operating successfully in this growth segment for over two years.
