COLOGNE/BONN – The HRS hotel portal and Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings have concluded a strategic partnership. As of December 2018, the HRS hotel range will be available on the Eurowings website to the airline’s 30 million-plus passengers.

Smart integration of the booking platform means that Eurowings customers can benefit from fast online hotel booking at guaranteed competitively priced terms, with flexible cancellation conditions, a fast goodwill service and special additional services in hotels. Both companies are responding to the customer’s need for simplified travel booking processes that enable them to book the right hotel quickly and easily along with the flight, which not only applies to business travellers— holiday makers too will benefit from the seamless travel experience.

Customers of both partners will also have the chance to earn miles: for each hotel booking on the Eurowings website, Boomerang Club members will be credited with miles for every euro spent. HRS is also extending its own customer loyalty programme by integrating the miles, giving myHRS registered customers the opportunity to earn Boomerang Club miles alongside BahnBonus points and Miles & More, thus making the platform the largest multi-partner programme for the lodging industry.

Future-oriented partnership provides customers with digital services

HRS submitted an impressive tender that displayed a high level of customer focus and optimisation of the Eurowings marketplace with particularly smart integration. The collaboration enables Eurowings and HRS to work together on a joint path to digitalisation that will seamlessly cover all the travel-related services on the Eurowings website. “We’re really pleased to have found a strong, innovative partner in HRS that is such a good match for us. The companies had already worked closely together in the area of integrated hotel booking solutions from May 2008 to October 2014. Now HRS has managed to win back one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines for itself.
