The world's best airline app comes from Eurowings. Every year, the business magazine Focus Money evaluates customer satisfaction with the apps of large companies in various service sectors, such as shopping, finance or travelling. This year, Eurowings' mobile application won first place among the airline apps, ahead of industry giants such as Singapore Airlines, Air France and low-cost competitor Easy Jet. Eurowings has made strong gains: Last year, Europe's third-largest point-to-point airline took third place, with fifth place in 2017. In the comprehensive test, a total of 375 apps from 45 different industries were put to the test, a total of more than 73,000 user comments were evaluated.

Only last year, around 200 billion apps were downloaded by mobile phone users worldwide. Eurowings is also recording this trend. Eurowings Digital Managing Director Oliver Schmitt comments: "Our way to the customer is increasingly taking place via smartphone: "We see that the mobile phone has become the most important tool for most of our customers when booking, preparing and during their entire journey. Our app is now being used for the entire holiday planning process thanks to functions such as car rental booking, the possibility to flexibly book FlixBus tickets and the information on travel offers individually tailored to the customer".

Eurowings Digital is continuously developing its app on its way to becoming the leading travel companion in the digital world - with great success, as can be seen from the Focus Money Ranking. Additional functions, such as the integration of further partners, will soon be available to Eurowings customers.
