Eurowings is increasing the number of its flights to Budapest: From April 2020, the point-to-point airline will fly up to three times a day from Stuttgart and up to two times a day from Hamburg to Hungary. Thus, Eurowings complements the already comprehensive service from Cologne/Bonn and Düsseldorf to the Hungarian capital. In spring, the airline flies from Hamburg to Budapest twice a day on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays instead of once a day. The service from Stuttgart will also be increased in the coming summer timetable from Monday to Thursday by one daily departure to a total of three connections. Starting today, Eurowings customers can book the flights at prices from €34.99 for the one-way flight – for example on the internet at eurowings.com or via the Eurowings App.
The flight time from Stuttgart to Budapest takes one hour and 30 minutes. From Hamburg the flight takes only 15 minutes more. The route continues to be operated by an Airbus of the A320 family. With around 250 flights per week, the Lufthansa Group is further expanding its leading position on routes between Germany and Budapest.
Budapest offers plenty of opportunities to immerse yourself in the history of the city – without having to miss out the glamour of a modern metropolis. The Hungarian capital weaves its way along both sides of the Danube and divides into the rather flat Pest and the hilly Buda. The best way to explore the city is by going for a walk: Along the Danube promenade, visitors enjoy an impressive view of the Hungarian parliament building. On the way to the castle palace you pass the picturesque castle quarter, which invites you to relax in one of its many cafés.
