Today an Airbus A320 took off for the first time to Ohrid in the southwest of North Macedonia: The passengers departed punctually at 07.20 a.m. from Stuttgart Airport. The connection to the popular tourist city is offered twice a week on Mondays and Fridays during the summer months. Departure from Stuttgart is early in the morning and the flight duration is estimated at about two hours.
Starting on 17 July, Eurowings will be expanding its service to Ohrid with the addition of a new connection from Düsseldorf. On Wednesdays in the afternoon, the route in the direction of Eastern Europe will be served by an Airbus A319. All flights can now be booked at prices starting at €29.99 for the one-way flight - for example on the Internet at eurowings.com or via the Eurowings App.
The city of Ohrid captivates with its picturesque old town, many churches, monasteries and mosques and is situated on Lake Ohrid: the million-year-old water is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old town is located directly on the waterside and invites you to take a walk along the lake promenade.
