Eurowings supports SHARE on World Food Day: 25,000 muesli bars on Eurowings flights against world hunger

Today is World Food Day. This day was created by the United Nations to draw attention to the approximately 900,000,000 people still suffering from hunger around the world.

In cooperation with the social brand SHARE, Eurowings crews today distribute a total of 25,000 muesli bars to their passengers on all flights from Düsseldorf. For every distributed bar, SHARE donates a meal to a person in need.

This campaign is embedded in the joint "500,000 MAL SATT MISSION" initiated by SHARE together with ShareTheMeal (sharethemeal.org). The aim of the campaign is to donate 500,000 portions of food within ten days, from 6 to 16 October 2019. Donations can be made either by purchasing a SHARE snack or via the ShareTheMeal app. Further information on the “500,000 MAL SATT MISSION” can be found at share.eu/sattMission.

Eurowings has been offering SHARE water exclusively on Eurowings flights since May 2019. This is the first 100% recycled PET water bottle. Every bottle sold donates one day's supply of drinking water to a person in need.
