Industry ranking: Eurowings is Germany's most popular airline in the crisis

The airline world is changing rapidly in times of Corona, customers suddenly have completely new wishes and requirements: No guest wants to fly without Corona insurance. The "run" on free middle seats in the aircraft continues. Hygiene wipes replace chocolate as a welcome on board. There is also a demand for flexible rebooking and digital non-stop travel advice - where else can guests fly to and where not? With all these measures and new services, Eurowings can score remarkably well in the crisis.
The online trade medium "aeroTELEGRAPH", in cooperation with the monitoring provider Adwired, publishes a daily updated ranking of the top 40 airlines. The public perception of these airlines is assessed on the basis of statements published in media worldwide. According to this, Eurowings is currently the most popular airline in Germany and is on a par with the US airline Southwest Airlines and the premium carriers Swiss and Emirates worldwide (please check daily!!!). Among other things, statements on reliability and customer orientation are statistically analyzed and evaluated. Click here for the complete ranking.
Eurowings has thus achieved a very good media positioning in recent months - for example, as the first airline in Europe to make the free middle seat available. In times of crisis, customers are evidently beginning to trust us more than other airlines - an important lever for building a lasting positive reputation in the public eye and, at the end of the day, for developing Eurowings into a popular and customer-friendly airline.
