Eurowings documentary “Ready for Take-Off”: launches on RTL+ on 28 October 2026
The two-part documentary “Ready for Take-Off – Behind the Scenes at Eurowings” will be available on the streaming platform RTL+ from 28 October 2026. It will air on VOX on 4 and 11 November 2026, at 20:15 on both dates. Several camera crews followed the employees of the Lufthansa Group airline during the summer season – on holiday flights to the Mediterranean, during night shifts in the maintenance hangar and in the Operations Control Centre, which coordinates around 600 Eurowings flights a day. Filming took place during normal operations and without a script; viewers will see real working practices and how cockpit, cabin and ground teams work together. Further details (Germany only)

Ten years by BVB’s side: Eurowings and Borussia Dortmund extend partnership
In 2026, Eurowings and Borussia Dortmund celebrate ten years of working together and extend their partnership for another year. Their partnership with the BVB women’s team, which began in 2022, will also continue for another season. Both brands have their roots in Dortmund and share a passion for emotion and team spirit. A highly visible symbol of their connection is the BVB Team Airbus. As the world’s first passenger aircraft with a matte paint finish, it serves as a flying ambassador in black and yellow.

“From the Fan Airbus to the countless trips with Black-and-Yellow fans, we’ve shared a lot over the past ten years. We’re proud of that, and we look forward to continuing our partnership for another year,” says Eurowings CEO Max Kownatzki.

“A decade of partnership with Eurowings stands for trust, shared experiences and a strong connection. During this time, we have put three special ambassadors in the air: the Team Airbus, the Fan Airbus and our current Team Airbus. They carry our Black-and-Yellow colors far beyond Dortmund. We would like to thank Eurowings for this and look forward to continuing our partnership,” says Carsten Cramer, Chairman of the Executive Board of Borussia Dortmund.
