Eurowings flies Grubenhelden to New York Fashion Week

From one runway to another in February when Eurowings flies the fashion label Grubenhelden [in English: Pit Heroes] to New York Fashion Week. The young fashion label’s entire team is travelling to the city that never sleeps with leading point-to-point carrier Eurowings to tell the story of German coal mining at the world’s largest fashion show. Eurowings is the official airline partner of “Grubenhelden” and the perfect partner for this project since both companies have their roots in North Rhine-Westphalia.
“We’re really pleased to have Eurowings by our side as a strong partner,” says Matthias Bohm, Managing Director of Grubenhelden. “Coping with a project as big as New York Fashion Week can only work if we’re in together – that’s like being down the pit. We don’t only want to showcase innovative fashion in New York, we want to convey the idea behind it as well. We’re saying thanks to the miners for what they’ve done for the region and for Germany as a whole.”

A large number of joint activities await the teams of both Grubenhelden and its partner Eurowings – not only in New York but also above the clouds during the outbound flight from Düsseldorf on February 6. Eurowings will also be showing at the fashion show itself before flying back to North Rhine-Westphalia by direct flight with the successful fashion start-up on 11 February.
