Extended service in summer: baggage check-in the evening before
From 30 March, Eurowings will again be offering an additional late night baggage check-in service at many airports: Travellers can drop off their baggage at the check-in counter the day before between 6 and 8 p.m. for a service fee of five euros; at the self-bag drop machines the service is free of charge. This offer is available at Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, and Stuttgart Airport. Further details

More self-service options at Dusseldorf Airport
The range of self-service machines for Eurowings passengers at Dusseldorf Airport has been expanded: At so-called self-bag drop machines and baggage tag machines, passengers can now label their baggage themselves and then check it in. Peak figures of 80 per cent for the use of self-bag drop machines at Hamburg Airport last year have shown that the self-service options are becoming increasingly popular with Eurowings customers. Travellers can now check in their baggage themselves at the ten new machines at Dusseldorf Airport. Especially during peak periods such as the Easter and summer holidays, they help to speed up processes at the airport and minimise waiting times.
