After successful Dubai launch: Eurowings doubles its services to the Gulf

First flight to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia in winter of 2024/25

Summary
  • Berlin-Dubai most successful Eurowings winter route in 2023/24
  • Daily flights from Berlin to Dubai starting in October 2024; three times a week from Stuttgart
  • New winter destination: to Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) from Berlin and Cologne

Eurowings is bringing more summer to winter – with a significant expansion of connections to the Gulf region. Germany's largest holiday airline will significantly increase its frequencies following the successful Dubai launch. Berlin-Dubai has immediately become the most successful route in the Eurowings winter flight schedule. Starting in October, Eurowings will be flying from Berlin to the beach metropolis of superlatives every day (instead of the previous four times a week). But it's not just the German capital that can rejoice – Eurowings aircraft will also be taking off from Stuttgart to Dubai three times a week instead of twice.

"With attractive daily flight times, best prices starting at 179 euros and fast direct connections from Stuttgart and Berlin, we have already won over many customers. This success is motivating us to significantly increase frequencies next winter," says Eurowings CEO Jens Bischof.

New destination in the Eurowings route network: Saudi Arabia

The Lufthansa Group airline is also expanding its medium-haul portfolio to the Gulf region and will be flying to Saudi Arabia for the first time in the coming winter. The Red Sea port city of Jeddah can be reached three times a week from Berlin and Cologne.
