Eurowings Marketplace: Codeshare flights can now be booked directly
Search, booking, and check-in bundled together for the first time via website and app

Eurowings has reached an important milestone in the further development of its digital offering: customers can now search for, book, and check in for Eurowings codeshare flights directly via the Eurowings website and app. AEGEAN Airlines and Smartwings are the first airline partners to be integrated at launch. This means travellers benefit from additional routes and more flight days. The website and app are thus becoming an even more attractive central booking platform for city breaks, vacations, and business trips.
Technical foundation for future growth
The project was developed over a period of almost two years in close cooperation with Lufthansa Group Hub Airlines, Lufthansa Systems, and Lufthansa Group Digital Hangar, and creates the technical basis for the future integration of additional partner airlines – both in the codeshare and non-codeshare sectors.

With this new feature, Eurowings is one of the few airlines worldwide to offer both “ticketless” and “ticketed” flights on a single booking platform. This means that Germany's largest leisure airline is not only enabling combined bookings of Eurowings and codeshare flights for the first time, but is also further expanding the competitiveness of its online platform.
