Eurowings offers best value for money once again
In 2026, Eurowings is again the airline offering the best value for money in Germany. In the latest annual survey conducted by Handelsblatt and the market research institute YouGov, Eurowings secured first place in the “Airlines” category with 17.3 points. EasyJet (13.8), Condor (13.3), SunExpress (12.6), and Emirates (11.2) followed closely behind. This top position confirms Eurowings' consistent course as Europe's leading value airline.

The ranking is based on over one million representative online interviews conducted by the market research institute YouGov. A total of 852 brands from 32 categories were evaluated.

New connection: Direct flights between Hanover and Glasgow
Eurowings is expanding its route network in summer 2026 with a new direct connection between Hanover and Glasgow. Starting 29 June, Eurowings operate three weekly flights from the capital of Lower Saxony and the Scottish metropolis, on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays. This seasonal route will strengthen the connection between Germany and the United Kingdom, creating additional options for business and leisure travellers. Flights can now be booked on the Eurowings website starting at around 40 euros.

Relocation at Munich Airport: Eurowings moves to Terminal 2
Eurowings will be relocating at Munich Airport on 25 March. Check-in and departure gates will then be located exclusively in Terminal 2. The Eurowings check-in area is in the immediate vicinity of the southern exit E04. In future, travellers will also be able to use all self-service machines for check-in and baggage drop-off in Terminal 2. Another advantage for passengers with connecting flights is that they will no longer need to change terminals, which will shorten travel times and transfer times. This move will see all Lufthansa Group airlines at Munich Airport united under one roof. Passengers with Eurowings flights will be informed of the terminal change in advance.

More connecting options for travellers: SunExpress and Eurowings expand codeshare agreement
Eurowings is further strengthening its partnership with SunExpress, the joint venture of Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines. For the first time, SunExpress is offering connecting flights operated by Eurowings from Dusseldorf, Stuttgart and Berlin under its own flight number (XQ).
