One year of Eurowings Holidays: Package holidays are on the rise
Eurowings Holidays is celebrating its first anniversary. Since April 2025, the tour operator has been offering package holidays that combine flights, hotel and transfers in one easy booking. The concept is clearly taking off: more and more customers are opting for simple, all-in-one packages instead of booking each element separately. Growth is particularly strong for package holidays including Eurowings flights, where the share has increased by around 25 per cent compared to last year. The current portfolio covers around 60 countries and approximately 16,000 hotels. Classic sun destinations and European city breaks are especially popular. What’s new: customers booking packages with Eurowings flights can now also collect Miles & More Points as well as Qualifying Points with their holiday. This makes Eurowings Holidays the first tour operator to offer customers the opportunity to build their status with Eurowings flights while earning miles on both the package and the flights. In addition, the age limit for children was raised to 18 at the beginning of April – another step towards making travel even more family-friendly. All in all, Eurowings Holidays is positioning itself as a modern provider for easy, all-in-one travel.

More comfort in summer: Check in your baggage the evening before
Good news for anyone who wants to travel in a relaxed way: Eurowings is once again offering baggage drop-off the evening before at selected airports. This allows travellers to check in their luggage the day before, between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and go straight to the gate on the day of departure. At Berlin, Cologne, Dusseldorf and Hamburg airports, using the baggage drop machines is free of charge. Alternatively, baggage can be dropped off at the check-in counter for ten euros per person. At Hanover and Stuttgart airports, this service is available at the counter for five euros per person. For BIZclass passengers, HON Circle members (including their companions), and Senators, the late-night baggage drop-off at the counter is free of charge. Further details.
