Winter schedule 2026/27: new direct routes from five German airports
Eurowings is expanding its network with several new direct services from the German airports of Berlin (BER), Cologne/Bonn (CGN), Hamburg (HAM), Hanover (HAJ) and Stuttgart (STR), launching from late October. Berlin and Hamburg will both gain direct flights to Jerez de la Frontera (XRY), while Cologne/Bonn adds two new connections to Klagenfurt (KLU) and Pristina (PRN). From Stuttgart, Eurowings will newly serve Cairo (CAI) twice weekly, with Hanover following in November as a second German gateway to the Egyptian capital. Hanover also gains Alicante (ALC) as an additional new route this winter. Further details on the winter schedule 2026/27 will be announced by Eurowings in the coming weeks.

Last-minute trend fuels summer season at Eurowings Holidays
Eurowings Holidays has seen bookings climb sharply since mid-May: package holiday bookings are up around 70 per cent year on year, and June revenue across all destinations is growing by more than 80 per cent. A clear shift towards short-notice booking stands out – more than half of all trips in May and June were booked fewer than 42 days before departure, while the share of “super last minute” bookings made within seven days of departure rose from seven per cent in May 2025 to 16 per cent in May 2026. Mallorca and Greece remain the top destinations, with bookings in peak weeks more than doubling. Current offers for Mallorca include one-week four-star packages with breakfast from 599 euros per person for departures until mid-July, as well as a family deal for two adults and one child (four-star, all-inclusive) from 1,899 euros per booking.

Brand identity: Eurowings unveils new corporate design
Eurowings has refreshed its brand identity, translating its positioning as a European value airline more consistently into its visual communication. At the heart of the new look sits the familiar Wings symbol, which will play a much stronger role as a standalone design element – complemented by a bespoke typeface, "Eurowings Type", a streamlined logo and a more dynamic colour concept built around the brand's signature Eurowings Burgundy. The simplified design system is tailored to digital touchpoints such as the website and app and embeds accessible design principles throughout. The roll-out will be phased across all brand touchpoints – from the website and the airport experience right through to the cabin. More details
