Easter holidays: Eurowings expects 200,000 passengers on the first holiday weekend
At the start of the Easter holidays, Eurowings is experiencing strong travel demand: around 200,000 passengers are expected over the first holiday weekend. At the same time, with the launch of the 2026 summer flight schedule, the number of flights is increasing significantly – starting 1 April, Eurowings will operate around 500 flights daily. Mallorca remains especially popular as a classic holiday destination. In addition, European cities are in high demand for city trips, including London, Barcelona, Lisbon, Rome, and Budapest. Sunny destinations in the Canary Islands such as Tenerife, Fuerteventura, and Las Palmas are also among the top destinations at the start of the holidays.

36,000 additional seats for Mallorca: Eurowings significantly expands its offering
Eurowings is expanding its flight offering to Mallorca at short notice, providing around 36,000 additional seats by the end of May. Approximately 100 extra flights to Palma de Mallorca are planned, along with around 70 additional connections to the Canary Islands (Fuerteventura, Las Palmas, Tenerife), as well as to Faro, Málaga, Naples, and Nice. With this move, the airline is responding to currently changing demand in the tourism sector and is specifically strengthening its offering to destinations in the western Mediterranean region. The additional capacities will depart from Berlin, Cologne/Bonn, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, and Stuttgart and are now available for booking.

New route and additional flights: Eurowings expands its Finland offering from Berlin
Starting 20 December, Eurowings will connect Berlin with the small Finnish town of Kuusamo. During the winter season, the value airline will operate flights from the capital to Kuusamo every Sunday. Tickets are available from 79.99 euros. In recent years, this popular destination in northeastern Finland has already been regularly served from Dusseldorf. In addition, Eurowings is increasing the frequency of its existing routes between Berlin and Rovaniemi as well as Kittilä. These routes will now be operated up to twice weekly. Flights to Rovaniemi will depart on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while flights to Kittilä will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
