Roadshow launch: Eurowings Holidays and Tenerife meet 200 travel agencies

Joint series of events in four German cities

Summary
  • Eurowings Holidays’ first roadshow as a tour operator
  • Joint series of events with Turismo de Tenerife and eleven hotel partners
  • Focus on active holidays, outdoor experiences and culinary delights in Tenerife
  • 60 per cent discount on bicycle, sports and golf luggage on Eurowings flights to Tenerife

Eurowings Holidays took part in its first roadshow as a tour operator this week and, together with Turismo de Tenerife, invited travel agency partners in four German cities to take part in personal exchanges. The series of events took place from 22 to 25 June in Cologne, Essen, Hamburg and Potsdam. A total of around 200 travel agencies participated.

As well as providing an insight into the range of holidays on offer from Eurowings Holidays, representatives from Turismo de Tenerife and eleven hotel partners presented the wide variety of holiday and leisure options available on the Canary Island. The focus is particularly on active holidaymakers with an interest in sport, outdoor activities and culinary experiences.

The close cooperation between the two partners is also reflected in a joint sales promotion: for bookings made between 29 June and 12 July 2026, customers will receive a 60 per cent discount on the additional charge for cycling, sports and golf luggage for trips to Tenerife. Instead of the standard 50 euros per leg, this means that transporting such luggage costs just 20 euros per leg, or 40 euros for a return flight. The offer is valid for flights until 27 March 2027, subject to availability.

The roadshow also highlights the potential of joint marketing initiatives between destinations and Eurowings Holidays. “The partnership with Turismo de Tenerife is a prime example of how we can work together to develop offers targeted at specific audiences,” says Jan Osmers, who is responsible for partnerships at Eurowings Holidays. “The combination of a tour operator’s product, flight offers and suitable additional services creates new opportunities for reaching shared target groups.”
